Warnings too early

alanheah.substack.com

This warning should come too early, halfway before the next wave when the sea is lowest, expected to be unnoticed by those who need it most.

Those of you who came over in 2020 to present yourself as agents of change, and stirred anticipation in almost half here, you have vanished since, uncontactable and non-interactive directly. We will remember your one-hit wonder, the next time your travelling carnival rolls around.

Meanwhile, you incumbents actively doing your jobs with the same inertia and bureaucracies, we are aware and remain grateful - for the same old unchanging status quo. Stable for dark ages; to be disrupted with unpredictable shocks, like the first Covid previous.

Either ways, both sides have been disappointments, one sensationally so, the other, in the sense of usual business. Consider yourselves warned, whether in ignorance, indifference, or intransigence.
