During the first Covid, formal schooling was disrupted. Commuting employment was damaged. Economic activity was muted. Uniformed enlistment also suffered.

Post- latest pandemic, things seem returned to normal. Formal education seems to reign. External officing is bureaucratically re-enforced. Economic profiteering has continued runaway progress and productivity. Uniforms remain lifeblood.

Goes to prove that there are too many people determined to give all their lives and in deaths, to do the same old familiar, apparently comfortable things to maintain status quos, cultural norms, homeostasis - even when it ultimately dooms them inexorably.
