Late last year till recently, there was another attempt that did not bear fruit, about self-compassion. I follow up from that prolonged still-birth with some more new organising thoughts.
It takes courage and wisdom to act on compassion towards others, but even more so for oneself, not just for formerly egocentric folks, but even more for self-negligent selfless persons.
The training for this skill starts with honest reflection into one’s darkest thoughts and brightest hopes alike, replying clearly to what one really hopes to achieve every moment, befor life ends abruptly.
Feeling true love for yourself does not mean just enduring the worst of the bad, it also requires giving your permission to enjoy the best of the good. Moment after moment as you exist.
