Lip service is easy
my words not just as cheap
“You will make it one day. You know, rich, famous, successful. How do I know? I don't know, I just somehow do. … Positive thinking, right?”
I admire your unshakable faith and pure hope in my future, sincerely do. At the same time, if not for the hardworking subscribers who pay to support my independent writing, we (family) will not live to see that future.
Lip service is, therefore, easy. Making a vision come true, is moment after moment tough. Following up, one step after another, is my routine.
Along the way, there is no space and time to “earn whatever pittance to survive, so postpone your dreams to a more affordable tomorrow” . Over our dead bodies, by then, so what's the point? I wasn't born yesterday, but over half a century anew. The clock is running down, all too soon.
