As much as the residents are trapped in the whims of their designers, are player students such as we. I admit my gratitude that the building exercises are offered at no further cost on Netflix. All the more then, I admit the lessons I earned of what works right for me, and what feels wrong, about settlement development.

Just like in the real world, all of urbania is based on food and water, without which your residents essentially quit. Yet unlike today's global denizens, who think they can thrive in virtual worlds of digital currency, not needing their starches and fats, proteins and fluids.

And wood too. Wood, that material to construct buildings, the fuel pre-burnt next as charcoal, to smelt ores into iron and gold, for advanced aggressive technologies like missiles and radar — I jest, weapons and shields. Because despite the touted variety in this game I analyse for global research, the options are limited to iconic medieval fantasy, of course.
