I perceive the mind in polyphony , of many voices in council, after Bakhtin, on Dostoevsky. I am the original base voice, the natural and true, but I am not always in command and control, as my many voices consciously, but even more insidiously, unconsciously, shape my final narratives in life.
A once wispy, ever foundational, now acknowledged as profound voice, is the dissociated, quiet and calm, constant in the depths of emotional pain, and it's maddening heights. Also through sickness and semi-consciousness.
