“Caught you! You said you're so poor now, forced to cook at home day and night, and now I'm seeing you here, with mine own eyes, eating your (no longer) cheap hawker food at a people’s coffee shop! What say you now, you guilty hypocrite?”

Duh. Come closer, and look at the leftovers and scraps I am finishing for our family members. Don't waste food, remember, from our military national service days' code of conduct?

And don't forget I still self-feed, more snacks and less than 3 square meals, almost all the time back upstairs in our public apartment flat, microwave heating and rice cooker boiling and pan stir fry,

so that our family can still afford to eat out normally, at still the lowest food costs, for the poor and typical in Singapore. This outing accompanying them is my 3-star fine-restaurant one, but amongst humble, relatively-still-much-cheaper hawkers!
