I walk the corridor of the clean, public housing grounds, and remember an earlier month of disaster sites, apartments hacked on floors and at doorframes, wetted and flooded by dark muddy grime - but of course, flash to present reality, which is veritable paradise.

I traverse the supermarkets where zombie horses throng, some lifeless in eyes, and a few contained barely of rage, clawing the shelves, grabbing whatever is in sight, crowding against one another fighting to win ahead - and blink my eyes, just trying to get ahead with the best sales deals negotiated with hungry brains hungry to exploit raw deals.
