Habits persist

2023 Jan 12 Thu 14:11. Alan Heah.

This person has been known for a long while. It is still full of itself, however erudite and chummy. Vanished for long stretches, it reappears seldom, as if nothing has been neglected since, none of many promises forgotten and broken, no updates ever needed except for positive publicity. It seeks a return to former glory, treacherously snatched from its pristine character. It would look well to surround itself with true friends and repay them.

That person has been this way forever. Meaning well and full of heart, nevertheless he is a creature of unbreakable habit, bound to ways of doing he would not change, assuming all are happy and well together, because he cannot do another way so, rejecting unfamiliar new suggestions and hesitant over coming changes. Thus he wears himself down from the strong ox he is, a humble hero till the bitter end. He would do well to see follow sound basics before it's too late, if he would not reflect carefully and listen to his honest self.
