Remember when you were young, and everything seemed simpler? This was right, and that was wrong. Walk this approved road, and your future is ever bright.

Now, look at your hands, you're older. Looking down from the heights of experience you've accumulated down the decades, the view from the top isn't exactly what you envisioned, with a child's eyes. Cherished goals that failed to be, dreams come true that became something else.

Your vault of coins couldn't buy the wings of free spirit. The books of wisdom wouldn't transcend human imperfections. And laughter is always followed thereafter by silence.

Only adding better to the whole endures. And as you stand at this high point in life, cold winds will blow by, but your heart remains warm. On the slopes up, your flag flutters.
